JAMES HALLIDAY WINE COMPANION – HERITAGE WINES GET OUTSTANDING RESULTS
QLD’s Heritage Estate Wines, (from the GI “Granite Belt”) are thrilled to announce the James Halliday 2020 results. This year, once more, we received exceptional ratings across all the 9 wines we submitted with 9 wines scoring above 89 points, and the 3 Heritage wines; (two Shiraz’s and the Fiano) scoring 95 points and featured in The Australian Newspaper Weekend Magazine on Easter Saturday 2019, putting them in the Best of the Best of Australia.
Heritage also received the prestigious five-star winery rating for the last five years. (Five-stars is defined as ‘Outstanding winery regularly producing wines of exemplary quality and typicity’). As a very small, family run winery, we are extremely proud of these results, as this recognizes that Heritage Estate is in the top 8% of wineries in Australia.
After four years of changes, and “new normals”, with confronting challenges, it’s comforting to know Heritage Winery is as reliable as ever. The release of the 2021 Halliday Wine Companion was exciting with Heritage Wines once again receiving gold medals and high scores.
