Sparkling red wines are a great Australian tradition, so we decided to create this uniquely Australian Sparkling Shiraz.

Nero D’Avola is native to Sicily, where it is the region’s most planted variety. The nose of this light-bodied Nero is floral, spicy, slightly earthy with a touch of vanilla. The palate resounds with the dark fruits of bright cherry and plum.

Pinot Grigio features a clean, crisp aroma with green apple and lemon zest notes. Its high acidity creates a refreshing, invigorating taste, focusing on lime citrus, with a touch of minerality that adds a subtle depth. The finish is brisk & zesty with mouthwatering texture that leaves the palate feeling refreshed, ideal for light dishes or as an aperitif.

Rabbit Fence Red is a blend we do year after year. The 2023 vintage is a blend of 40% Shiraz, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 30% Merlot. The palate is richly textured, with lovely fine tannins providing length and structure.

The three grapes each contribute: Shiraz (58%) for pepper and spice, Grenache (18%) for fruit (sour cherry) and flavour, and Mouvedrè (24%) for depth and complexity.
